Ron Bates, MMRG, received reports early this morning of multiple Orcas near Victoria and it was soon confirmed that part of the group was JPod and there are other Orcas in the area as well!
This is excellent news as the Resident Orcas had been absent from the area for a while but it is great that they have now returned:) We soon heard the amazing news that J2 "Granny", the 98 year old Matriarch of JPod was seen alongside the oldest male in the SRKW's, J1 "Ruffles":)
Once again Five Star Whale Watching was the first to discover and report this exciting event!
