J-pod encountered! Aug 10th, 2012

We had wonderful encounters with J-pod today off San Juan Island. During our encounters we watched some Porpoising (high speed swimming), pectoral slaps & waves, tail slaps and breaches:) Amongst the Orcas we encounters we identified J27 "Blackberry" an the Cookie Crew, including J22 "Oreo", J34 "Double Stuf", and J38 "Cookie". We also showed our guests Harbors Seals and numerous Marine Birds. It was another wonderful day on the Salish Sea!
