This afternoons we had an incredible encoutner with members of J & L-pod!
As we arrived on scene we witnessed several spectacular breaches, including one by J27 "Blackberry"! We also saw several cartwheels, tail slaps, tail lobs and pectoral waves. However, the highlight of the trip was when we witnessed a female Orca push her calf up to the surface and hold it there for all to see, it was amazing!
We also saw J28 "Polaris", a female born in 1993, J27 "Blackberry", his brother "J39 "Mako" and J30 "Riptide".
On our way home we paid a visit to Chain Islets and again our passengers got to see the many Harbor Seals there.
