Thursday, September 24, 2009, Afternoon Trip, Fog Lifts and Humpbacks Appears!
Hard to believe it is the same day as the Morning Trip. Both spectacular in their own way, but the difference could not be clearer (Pun Intended). The Morning Fog lifted in a matter of minutes. At 1:45pm Race Rocks and much of Juan de Fuca Strait were still covered in thick fog. By 2:05pm, it was gone!
