Five for Five Star! Sept 18, 2009.

In what had to be one of the best days of the season so far Five Star Whale Watching and our passengers had the amazing fortune to see 5 different species of Cetacean today:) Cetaceans comprise of Whales, Dolphins and Porpoise, and today we encountered Dalls Porpoise, Harbor Porpoise, Pacific White Sided Dolphins (a rare sight in the Salish Sea), a Humpback Whale and two groups of Transient Orcas, the T30's and T185' (another rare visitor to the Salish Sea)!

The weather was perfect with sunny skies and calm seas so seeing all this wildlife was the icing on the cake:) Not only did we see 5 species of Cetacean, but we also got to see three species of Pinnipeds (Seals & Sealions) with both Steller & California Sealions as well as Harbor Seals.

With wonderful passengers all day and incredible wildlife sightings, today was proof again that September is one of the most beautiful times of the year to go Whale Watching!
