Fantastic Afternoon!

First, we encountered 10 to 15 Killer Whales (mostly from J pod, but with some K's & L's mixed in) swimming close together...The classic Coffee-Table Book cover photo.

Then, members of J, K and L pods "socializing". Females and Males acting like, well, females and males. Children, and the faint of heart, should avert their eyes from the "sea snakes" that seemed to pop up when the hormones kicked into overdrive.

And even what we interpreted as "challenging" or "asserting dominance" behaviours from two males swimming shoulder to shoulder.
